Well, we are finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Nine months again, I kicked off Motherhood Mondays, as CWM desired to find new ways to encourage community in this now very virtual time. For some it was quite challenging to meet with others or attend church, and it felt at times lonely.
And now, as we approach spring with things reopening and opportunities for in person fellowship and community through church, Bible study, small group and more become plentiful, we've decided the need for this kind of community, gratefully, isn't needed quite as much.
2020 marked a break from my normal ministry roles in CrossTraining, Awana and Special Needs Ministry, and so it was fun to have a chance to highlight resources geared to raising the next generation on this blog, but I am even more excited about returning to planning respite nights and serving children at church IN PERSON!
I pray so many of these conversations will continue as we share resources that have challenged and encouraged us or resources that help our kids understand Gospel truth and excite them about how God is working. Conversations full of wisdom that has been passed down to us from the faithful sisters that have walked parenting and discipling stages before us. Conversations about how we can stir one another to do good works. Let us not take for granted the chance to do these things physically together!
