Hopefully you have seen all the announcements of the changes to our children's ministry programs for the fall. If not, here's a brief outline. I'll add links for a lay out of the all details, FAQs and video explaining each program.
There will be three programs, each occurring at least initially via Zoom:
- 1 John 2:5 Clusters
- For kids age Pre-K- 6th grade
- Weekly 10-20 minutes
- Teams of two volunteers join with five kids of similar ages to form a cluster for fellowship, follow-up and fun. Groups may read scriptures or Bible themed stories, pray for requests together, share updates + do ice breakers for fellowship or practice verses children are memorizing at home or for Matthew 10:20 class. These groups will all be unique in scheduling and activities based on the needs of each family and make-up of kiddos.
- Matthew 10:20 Class
- For kids K-6th grade
- Biweekly 30-60 minutes
- Class instruction from our Truth 78 curriculum and fun, led by pairs of instructors. This curriculum we traditionally use for Sunday school is "God-centered, Bible-saturated, Gospel-focused, Christ-exalting,
Spirit-dependent, doctrinally grounded, and discipleship-oriented." Although this class setting will be a shortened version of our Sunday school program, it will still be rich and give opportunity for family follow up and verse memorizing.
- Psalm 100 Gathering
- Monthly 30-60 minutes
- Large gathering for the whole family to hear from special speakers on topics such as the gospel, missions, or church history, Christian celebrities, ministries, and current events.
Sign-ups began last week and run through Wednesday, August 17th. Join us for fellowship, Bible teaching and fun!
