Happy Tuesday, Ladies!
Anyone else have trouble "finding time" to do their Bible Study homework? I know I do.
Right now my husband is working 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule, I have a newborn and a toddler (neither of whom sleep reliably...or at all!), we're repainting, landscaping, and putting new flooring into our new house and (Lord willing!) moving in this week. Meanwhile, we're living out of suitcases at my parents', and getting ready for a semi-surprise visit from my in-laws. You've all been there--and it's especially in these times we can think of plenty of excuses to not keep up with our quiet times, and certainly not to do Bible Study homework!
As we get well into the trenches in this study, I wanted to encourage you all with a verse that the Spirit brought to mind as I struggled to "find time" this week for my study. I know we all have seasons where sometimes we can spend hours doing the homework and soaking up the Word, and sometimes we have five minutes (if that!) to skim the pages and scribble down a few answers (and hope that that verse we're discussing really is the one you remember, since you were in too much a hurry to look it up and "read it through carefully" like that book suggests. Not that I've done that, of course!)
See you at Tuesday@Crossroads!
9:30am - Coffee and Fellowship time
10am-Noon - Morning Bible Study (True Woman 101 - VBS for the kids!)

1:30pm - Afternoon Bible Study (Gideon)
7pm-8:30pm - Evening Bible Study (True Woman 101)
Much love!

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. --Galatians 6:9Lovelies, these hectic seasons of sleep-deprivation will pass, and the laundry will cycle from clean to dirty endlessly; the kitchen will return to its' natural messy state, and the empty pantry will be filled again (once we find time to go to the store!); dirty footprints will continue to mar our clean floors until those little feet grow up and start their own households; but the Word of the Lord endures forever.
