Last week I shared a resource shares with God's constant goodness, but the story specifically talks about the experience of a little boy whose sister is stillborn. Today, I wanted to share a resource that can be useful through walking through the idea of death. It can be helpful when a loved one dies or when someone is sick or just as kids have questions about death. While this book can be a tool during times of major loss, it's also easily applicable to all families from saying good bye to parents, family of friends for a short time (like heading off to work), a longer time (when family lives far away) or during transition like a move.
Goodbye to Goodbyes
This book walks through the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. It points to Martha's faith in Jesus, Jesus' weeping alongside us in death and ultimately his power over death as we look forward to heaven where we will no longer have to say good bye.
The Good Book Company, publisher of this book, put out this video of the author, Lauren C pplhandler reading the book. Enjoy!
