Home School Corner: Christmas Eve!

Hopefully you're done with school for the semester! Woot woot, you made it to Christmas!

As you (hopefully!) have a little respite from your usual school schedule now, I'd like to invite you to join me as I ponder these questions that I try to ask myself as I close one season of school and prepare for the next:

Did this year go as planned? Why/why not? Better/worse than planned? How was God's grace evident?

What ways did you see God work in your kids this fall as students?

What ways did God work in your life as you taught?

What key areas of growth would you like to see in each of your kids over the next semester?

What key areas of growth do you need to see in yourself over the next semester?

What kind of support/help/encouragement would aid you that you found lacking this fall?

I hope reflecting on these questions (and more of your own, depending on your situation!) can remind you have episodes of God's grace through the past season, and give you hope and joy for the future! If this season was particularly hard for you (and I know it was for many of us!) please know--you are being lifted up in prayer, and God has not forgotten your needs in this area--He WILL complete the good work that He started in you! He will equip you for what He calls you to do--so keep fighting this good fight, mama! Our God can do this even through broken vessels like ourselves!

If there is any way we, in the CWM team, can help you, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask!

I hope you have a blessed and joyful Christmas tomorrow, and Merry Christmas from the Home School Corner!
