Get to Know a Mom: Holly Thornton

We love getting to share fun interviews with women at Crossroads. This month, we get to know Holly Thornton, mama of 3!

Tell us about your family:

Tyler and I have been married 9 years. We have 3 kiddos: David (6), Samuel (4), and Hannah (2).

What's in your diaper bag?

The current contents of my diaper bag: 3 expired membership cards, aquatic center cards, feminine products, bags of bandaid and general first aid, tylenol, hand sanitizer, 2 rolls of quarters, car keys, wallet, 2 packs of gum, dramamine, stack of coupons, benadryl, epipen, 4 masks, 2 packs of goldfish (1 opened), lotion, safety pins, mini Guess Who game, pack of fruit leather, container with 3 granola bars, bib, crinkly baby book, simple puzzle, wad of tissues, ziploc bags, 3 things of sunscreen, pull ups, wipes, paci/cup holder straps, and 2 random baby shampoos.
Wow! I need to clean this thing out more often.

What's your favorite mom tip or hack?

Baking soda paste can take anything off just about any surface.

What is your mom must have?

Brewers yeast was really important for me while breastfeeding all 3. I always seemed to struggle with my milk supply and cookies laced with Brewers yeast helped.

Best advice you've received about being a mom (serious or funny)

From Carolyn Leslie (on why parenting is so hard): "It is hard. Just love them."
