Welcome to another Tuesday@Crossroads, ladies!
We are so excited about the new study this year, and hopefully everyone has been diving in to their homework! In case you (like me) usually skip the "about," "forward," and "introduction," I want to give you a little info about the Gospel Coalition (you may have noticed that their name is stamped on the front of Rebuild).
See you all at T@C! As always, our schedule will be:
9:00am - Setup (volunteers are always appreciated!)
9:30am - Coffee and Fellowship time
10am-Noon - Morning Bible Studies (DFD and Rebuild, childcare available!)
Noon - 1pm - BYO Lunch (kids rejoin mom at noon)
1-1:30pm - Prayer for the Nation
1:30pm - Afternoon Bible Study (Rebuild)
7pm-8:30pm - Evening Bible Study (Rebuild)
We can't wait to see you there!

The Gospel Coalition is a fellowship of evangelical churches deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to reforming our ministry practices to conform fully to the Scriptures. We have become deeply concerned about some movements within traditional evangelicalism that seem to be diminishing the church's life and leading us away from our historic beliefs and practices. On the one hand, we are troubled by the idolatry of persona consumerism and the politicization of faith, on the other hand, we are distressed by the unchallenged acceptance of theological and moral relativism. These movements have led to the easy abandonment of both biblical truth and the transformed living mandated by our historic faith...we have committed ourselves to invigorating churches with new hope and compelling joy based on the promises received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. (Don Carson, The Gospel Coalition. Rebuild. Nashville: Lifeway Press, 2014, pg. 4)What a great opportunity to take part in a movement to maintain the integrity of Scripture, and to promote its proper place in our lives!
