T@C Bible Study Break and Other Notices

Happy Tuesday, Ladies!

We are once again on a break between studies, and I'm sure you, like me, are gearing up for the school year! It amazes me how much there is to do, even though I've been out of school for (ahem) a few years now, and my kids still have a solid two years before they even start preschool! I always think of that quote from You've Got Mail, "Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy  school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address."

This fall, CWM will offer a study on leadership called Rebuild: A study in Nehemiah at all our usual times. In addition to that, we will also offer the Designed for Discipleship series, which covers the basics of the Christian faith. It's great for new believers or review - I just went through it myself a few years ago and I was incredibly blessed by studying the amazing truths of the gospel! (Since the afternoon and evening studies will also be covering Nehemiah, you can come to both, if you are so inclined!)

Look for the sign-up table in the foyer at church on Sunday, and we can't wait to see you at T@C!

Also, because Mary is out-of-town, the Monday morning playgroup is also taking a break (but feel free to show up anyway--I sometimes do!) Until further notice, all we are only going to have playgroup at Urban Park at 10 A.M. on Mondays, and not meet in White Rock. We will officially resume in September.

Also, a week from tomorrow (August 20th) is Missionary Prayer time! Check the bulletin for meeting details (or email me at cbcwmblog@gmail.com or talk to Vickie). This prayer meeting is one of the dearest - the prayer warriors who have faithfully been interceding on behalf of our missionaries read out the news and requests from the closed countries and hand out copies from open ones and you really get to know what is happening with people on the front lines of fulfilling the Great Commission.

Have a great week, ya'll, and keep watching for more news about the next season with the CWM and T@C!
