Hello lovely ladies!
Emily here, and I apologize for the lack of posts for a few weeks, but thank you all for your gracious patience! I do try to stay ahead of the blog, but ever since the beginning of May, life for our family has been wonderfully crazy--our second baby arrived, we moved out of my sweet parents' home into our first house (woohoo!), and my in-laws came for a visit, so I finally lost the blog completely once we got to July--but now we're getting back to normal, so I will be less distracted! (That is, of course, providing I can find things amidst all our still-packed boxes...like my computer. Didn't I have a computer?) Thanks to everyone who has been so incredible with helping us move, providing babysitting, giving so many presents for James and Baby Charlie, and for heaping us with prayers and blessings!
All this has bourn in on me a truth about living the Christian life. As comedian Mark Lowry puts it,
Sometimes it's not exactly a fun time or a peaceful valley, but it's still a blessing of abundance!
Stay tuned for our usual posts and updates, and some special articles coming up soon - and of course, don't forget to check our Pinterest page!
Much love, and thanks again for your patience!

All this has bourn in on me a truth about living the Christian life. As comedian Mark Lowry puts it,
"Life is life...a wife to feed, a husband to clothe, children to raise, a boss to put up with, car notes, taxes, April 15th. Life is life, and Christ says, 'I have come to give you life...more abundant.' If I could put the Christian life into one word, do you know what it would be? It wouldn't be joyous, it wouldn't be victorious, it wouldn't be sad, it wouldn't be depressing, even though it has been all those things at some point in time. If I could put my entire Christian experience into one word, it would be this - the Christian life is interesting."
Sometimes it's not exactly a fun time or a peaceful valley, but it's still a blessing of abundance!
Much love, and thanks again for your patience!
